All Stars For Hope
All Stars for Hope is a non-profit organization staging a charity soccer game to benefit impoverished children worldwide. The game will be in Giants Stadium (USA), will feature many of the world's best soccer players and be watched by a global audience. The website is vital to all of their efforts, and provides a place to find information, sign up for updates, donate to the cause and find out how to become a sponsor.
AOC Fine Wines
AOC Fine Wines is an online shop and brick & mortar store located in Greenwich, CT. In addition to converting the site from an older e-Commerce system that was not SEO-friendly, they wanted to automate an affiliate system to allow customers to 'donate' commissions to various non-profit organizations and charities. Another new addition was an opt-in mailing list & newsletter. All of this was accomplished using open-source systems, keeping the cost reasonable and the site feature-packed.
Axiom Technologies
Axiom Technologies is a rural communication services provider in rural Maine. They requested a clean, fast-loading site since most of their potential customers are on dial-up connections.
Baba Paul
Baba Paul is an artist creating unique jewelry. She requested a site to showcase and sell her work, but she did not want a full-blown e-Commerce shopping cart. The solution provided integrates her products with a customized Paypal shopping cart and gives her the ability to manage inventory by listing items as 'Available' or 'Sold Out.' Orgasmic Birth
Orgasmic Birth is a documentary film about the sensuality and safety of natural birth. An extensive website was built to promote the film, provide information on birth, provide a multifaceted point of contact, be a center for birth advocacy and provide updated news and personal blogs. There are multiple forms for both the media and the general public to request information or share their reactions. Viewable and downloadable media include video, graphics and documents.
Rockland Family Shelter
Rockland Family Shelter is a privately operated, grassroots organization dedicated to ending violence against women, children and youth. We converted their site from static html and SEO-unfriendly tables to a dynamic, databased-backed website that can be edited staff members. To make fundraising easier, Civicrm was added to provide constituent relationship management as it is designed for advocacy, non-profit and non-governmental groups.
The World Soccer Project
The World Soccer Project is an international soccer association that is developing and running amateur soccer leagues for adult players around the world. It has two major, related objectives:
- To offer a top-notch, enjoyable, safe, and reasonably priced soccer experience to adult players in major cities around the world, and
- To support programs that improve educational opportunities for marginalized children in each of those cities.
Tupelo Honey Productions
Tupelo Honey Productions is one of the world's premier content production providers. They produce for a wide variety of industries including sports, entertainment, live events, music videos, broadband and more. The main purpose of their site is to showcase videos of their work. Their existing logo provided the color scheme, and the design is purposely clean but textured, drawing the eye to the content. Their site is divided into 'divisions' for each area of production, and from each division a video can be selected for viewing. Read more
YogAsana South
YogAsana South is a yoga studio in Raleigh, NC. Orginally developed on the content management system, the site was later converted to WordPress. The color palette was provided by the client, who also requested the inclusion of inspirational quotes. The quotes are visible on every page with a random quote loading on every page.
